Statues, Politics and Memories.

The project deals with fifteen statues in the public domain in Lutyens Delhi. Each statue is studied through the following layers- the political agenda behind the erection of the statue, the political scenario during the time,  the location, context and physical attributes of the statue and the memory instilled by the statue's unveiling. The observations and analysis are put out through different mediums - an essay, a presentation and a series of podcasts to be put out in the public medium as part of the public scholarship.
