WORK RETREAT - AT PARIEJ LAKE, GUJARAT

Located near Pariej lake, the site is a bird sanctuary and a wetland, with tall trees. The site has tall, slender wild grasses forming a natural boundary between the site and the lake.As we approach the site from the approach road, the lake is not visible due to the tall grass that separates the land from the lake.As more work cultures are adopting a hybrid model, people are opting for more independent locations to occasionally work from. The work retreat built on this site allows one to escape from the hustle of city life and spend their time closer to nature.  It provides residential space for one to live closer to nature and pursue their work individually and with the community. The concept of the project is porosity and courtyards which is achieved by: porosity through walls and forming spaces within.
