The Grand Praça - Event Hotel

The union territory of Diu is an island off the southern coast of Gujarat. It is bounded by the state of Gujarat on the North and the Arabian Sea on the other three sides. Its geographic location makes it perfect for neighboring cities to come to Diu and celebrate events. The site is a 400 year old baroque church. having inherent scale and grandeur to its architecture, giving it way for dream like celebration. Hence I propose to design an event hotel as the new program to church.
