The Bhadra plaza is very unique in terms of the composition of the built and open space. The narrow streets between dense built-up openings up into the big open plaza enjoy the great interconnected movement as the same is not happening in the city anywhere. Because of this composition, it attracts a greater number of informal activities and now becomes an overcrowded and chaotic place. The core idea of the intervention is to design a performance space with having public space where they can feel calm and relaxed in this crowded context. Having light structure physically and experientially allows the public to enjoy and celebrate.
