The Respite at the Lake

The intent of the program is to be a respite at the lake through recreation, community engagement, health and well being. Alongside, in order to revive the character, identity of the site, through the form of performances and storytelling, the vision is to transform the area into a social and cultural hub that Vastrapur is in need of. The visualization intents for a program: where the chaos on the periphery of the built is organized and brought in, congestion is relieved, different kinds of public plazas are formed that allows for different activities to hold in them, broader and well connected pedestrian paths, and a richer and greener experience at the lake edge.
