Case studies on MRTS Systems and Metro Neo Proposal

The aim of the studio is to have a comprehensive understanding of conducting a feasibility study for a mass rapid transit project in Rajkot city. For that detailed case studies for understanding of Mass Rapid Transit Systems (MRTS) worldwide is done in terms of technologies and their application, operations, economics, environment and their implementation. Then the feasibility studies for 3 different MRT systems are done for Rajkot, by analyzing the existing city situation, passenger demand, financial & economic appraisal etc. This portfolio is a shorter version of the understanding concepts for various MRTS in different cities and proposal for metro Neo system in Rajkot city, focusing more on the system technology and station planning.
