typeplay

"typeplay" is my journey of Typography that helped me at learning the basic principles of type and print in visual communication. Starting with Latin and Devanagari calligraphy. Followed by learning later on to compose and transform quotes into expressive hand lettered sheets. Using Illustrator software, the next step is to understand the properties of various fonts and use it to create abstract compositions. A study of typeface and font family also helped in creating compositions. Thus, this helped me in learning and developing the appropriate use of colors, type, layout etc.… These learnings are reflected in the two important projects.
