Amraiwadi poses as an excellent example of a neighborhood influenced initially by the industries in the vicinity but now is allowing for growth along the transit corridor. Its study attempts to understand the urban nature of an industrial town now focusing on the worker's movement. The housing, transport, and infrastructure here are a direct consequence of the area being developed as an industrial hub. The city grows with time; different parameters influence such change which can be seen in the case of Amraiwadi from an industrial area to then taking a transit-oriented approach.
