Chanakyapuri is located on the northwestern fringe of Ahmedabad. It is a residential cluster with a mix of housing typologies predominantly typologies such as Apartments and Rowhouses. It is well connected to the SG Highway through sub-arterial road which divides the area into north and south parts. This area rapidly developed in the last 2 decades due to significant catalysts such as the construction of SG Highway, the high court, and the implementation of the TP Scheme in the area. People migrated from the core city to Chanakyapuri because of the low land prices which led to the area's development
