Ahmedabad, one of the largest cities, stretched over both the sides of the Sabarmati river, started growing as a commercial place after 1945. This study is about the place named Ghatlodiya, Ahmedabad, which is located 5.4km away from the city center (income tax office), sized to 1 Sq.km area. The report will talk about the precinct's history, transformation, streets, built form, land use and etc.. The report has been made possible by site investigations, public interviews in site and other e-sources. Maps were generated using GIS software and graphs were plotted.
