Due to improved road infrastructure, Ahmedabad has seen a boom in the Industrial and Residential sector, which has led to the development of urban villages which lie along the vicinity of Ahmedabad. One of such villages is Gota, which lies in the north-east of Ahmedabad along the S.G highway. The report focuses on various developments in Industrial and Residential aspects along with Government policies such as AUDA, BRTS, etc, over the last two decades.
