Jashoda Nagar has a diverse characteristic which is a result of mixed land use of residential, commercial and industrial settlements in the area. It'slocation at the periphery of Ahmedabad made it easier to implement the Town Planning Schemes which resulted in a rapid transformation of the urban infrastructure. Furthermore, the addition of the precinct in TOD Zone, resulted in transition from low-rise to high-rise buildings in the precinct due to the increase in FSI.
