Nava Naroda is located in the outer region of the Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation industrial estate in North East Ahmedabad. The area has a predominant amount of residential sectors with more apartments and detached houses, developed around the informal commercial sector. It is located 13km from the income tax office and connected to the major road networks such as the Nikol road and Ramprakash road which connect the major cities of old Nikol and Naroda. It is an important business model and residential hub that consistently continues to attract real estate developers every year because of its labor market demand around it. The study focuses on comprehending the urban structure of Nava Naroda, which covers 1 sq.km area in Ahmedabad’s North east. The text is divided into 3 different chapters which includes the evolution of the district ,transformation of the region through its own town planning schemes and decoding its physical forms and elements along with its present labor market. The first chapter speaks about the basic understanding of spatial pattern with its boundary. The second chapter explains its road network ,built form along with its development of the region in terms of land development and equitable city in housing sector. Based on the above parameters, the reader can understand the importance of Nava Naroda as a node in the geographical periphery of the city.
