In India, Ahmedabad has become a significant center for business and industry. Ahmedabad has undergone numerous shifts from rural areas to urban ones. The cultural component, as well as the land planning and organization, determine the city footprint of communities. The demand for housing and industrial construction has increased as Ahmedabad's population has grown. The concept is built around the idea of viewing Ahmedabad through the lens of the numerous little regions that dot the metropolis. Nikol is a growing neighborhood near to the edge. At initially, there were a number of informal settlements there, but as it developed, new typologies entered the picture. Due to the impact of industry, it was entirely designated as a residential zone.
