Ahmedabad has developed radially around the riverbank of Sabarmati. The eastern side of the walled city has a 500-year-old well-perched history, and the west is the new and prosperous side of the city. Paldi is a residential neighborhood in western Ahmedabad which is rapidly developing. Its strategic positioning has helped it register a surge in price growth over the years.
