Sabarmati is located on the western banks of river Sabarmati which divides the city in two halves. Generations of people living in the area have helped transform the area into what it is today. It is a residential neighborhood with a variety of different communities which co-exist together. The folio provides an in- depth analysis of the spatial development of Sabarmati over the years with respect to the street network connectivity and the politics of land development and its implications. It also tries to speculate on the whys and how's of all the events that lead to the development and eventually the death of real estate.
