The portfolio throws light upon understanding and observing 1 sq km of Rakhial. Rakhial falls on the eastern side of Ahmedabad, an outskirt of the walled city back then, was developed as an industrial hub due to its proximity to the Railway line and the Kharicut Canal. Post the shut down of the textile mills and the evolution through years, the key finding of Rakhial through a lens of streets, built form, land development, public realm, public infrastructure, housing, jobs and transport is what the compilation talks about.
