Ahmedabad is a city that has developed incrementally over decades to be one of the fastest urbanizing cities in India. This project studies Sola Thaltej, a suburb located in the western part of Ahmedabad, to understand the city's overall growth. With the beginning of Town Planning Schemes and revision of land use plans, Sola Thaltej started to grow in layers. Sola Thaltej has now developed into a planned neighborhood in complete contrast with how it was two decades before.
