Housing for Ramdev Nagar

Amidst the bustling heart of the city, sandwiched between the ISRO and the SG Highway, Ramdevnagar Tekra is a neighborhood comprising of people coming from low to middle income groups that are dependent on daily wages for their livelihood.  The intention of the project is to create a habitat that has some semblance of the previous settlement of the community in terms of communal living, use of shared spaces, self-sufficiency of the settlement and flexibility of growth with time. The project also hopes to use the built-environment to add value to the lives of the people in the community. It visualizes the settlement as a thriving commercial hub at the heart of the city and welcomes people from all over the city.
