Gaekwad Haveli: Archaeological Park

The Gaekwad Haveli is a part of the walled city of Ahmedabad. It is located at the south western part of the old city and the Sabarmati river runs along its western side. It has a rich layering of history which is, even today, evident in the architecture we see within and around the Haveli. Archival information also shows that it is a potentially high archaeological region, creating scope for the people of Ahmedabad to engage with their diverse heritage.
