Design and Analysis of Shivranjani Cross Roads

A road system is essential for the growth of an economy. Efficient road infrastructure is a foundation for user commutes and the transportation of goods and services. The studio is concerned with intersections, a significant part of the road network. Intersections connect several roads and aid in managing, directing, and navigating traffic flow. This studio includes choosing a specific intersection and conducting on-site surveys, studying traffic volume and flow, analyzing speed and delay, assessing the level of service, observing and rating pavement condition, projecting future usage of the intersection, user and surrounding composition, and designing signal timing, as well as using accident data and geometric features to understand the safety and service aspects of the intersection.
