Intersection Design and Analysis of SVRC Cross-Road

With multiple competing movements taking place at once, including multiple vehicle users and pedestrians, intersections are vulnerable areas. This studio focused on comprehending traffic conditions and associated difficulties in urban settings, particularly at and near crossroads. The studio focuses on the intersection's physical characteristics, such as speed analysis and pavement defects, in order to analyze and design an urban intersection, specifically one in Ahmedabad. The "SVRC" intersection in the Navrangpura Ward 18 was selected as the project's intersection. The intersection's engineering components were understood, and suggestions were made.
