A Residence in Shantinath Ni Pol

The residence has been created for a family of six and is situated in Shantinath Ni Pol. The design addresses the rich cultural context of the site borrowing from the pre-existing spatial and built elements and at the same time addressing the modern day requirements of privacy and space. Through otlas, community connections are made, while the internal courtyard and common spaces connects the family. The living areas are provided with adjacent buffer spaces, to add to the breathability of the spaces.
