Urbanization has led to a lot of issues like urban flooding, stress on water levels and water scarcity, etc., such cases can be noticed in the urban village near Motera Stadium. Due to the uncontrolled population growth, there are problems which are faced by these communities on the daily basis such as water crises, unequal access to clean water, water contamination, health problems, drainage issues, sewage issues, open defecation, waste dumping, social atrocity, etc. which is affecting the groundwater recharge. The project aims to help these communities to preserve the urban village, making it self-sufficient by evolving a water cycle strategy based on extraction, collection, replenishment, cleansing, and distribution of water in various stages to complete the hydrological and ecological cycle. It aims to enhance the value of accessible clean water, thus reinforcing the notion of water positivity for a better future.
