Repurposing The Barge - Ship Breaking & Recycling Yard

The premise of this project is to curate a set of connected facilities to upcycle and repair barges/ships that have been abandoned. An Environment Laboratory will be introduced, engaged, in finding effective ways of dismantling the ship and handling the residue products. Apart from these, other facilities like Bilge Treatment Plant, Computerized Waste Tracking System and Incineration Facility will also be introduced. After dismantling and repairing, the program will be extended to a Metal Recycling Facility. This facility will source various metal infrastructure from within Goa. The result of the recycled infrastructure can be used further for small scale construction.
