This studio aims to provide students with knowledge and skills to design steel structures. The course will enable fresh BE students to work individually on given project with thorough understanding of architectural drawings, preparing structural systems using latest Indian Standard Code of Practice for general construction (IS800:2007). Students will apply their knowledge from strength of materials and structural analysis for further understanding between analysis, selection and design of structural steel elements and their connections. Finally students will prepare detailed structural drawings to execute on site.
