The Shihor branch of the Gujarat Institute of Disaster Management (GIDM), known as the Disaster Management Institute, is dedicated to addressing the challenges posed by frequent floods and rescue operations in the southwestern region of Gujarat, particularly in Saurashtra. This institute prioritizes preparedness, relief, rehabilitation, and prevention of both natural and human-induced hazards in the area. The facility is structured to accommodate various key divisions, including administration, training, and an exhibition area. The courtyard serves as a space for conducting specific activities within the institute's premises. by avoiding clashing of other groups.
