To attempt a study to tell the story of how something came to be is an exciting prospect. In the case of cities, the narrative would result from centuries of cumulative events, religious and social beliefs, personal odysseys and mankind's quests to brave the adverse. This project is a brief look into the history of a port town located in the Kutch region of Gujarat, named Mundra. By analyzing literature-based evidence and actual on-site observations, a narrative emerged, giving exciting possibilities on how the city emerged, formed connections and grew, symbiotically influencing its inhabitants.
