“Cosmic Cascades” is an Astronomy and Space Museum in Science City, Ahmedabad. The conceptual genesis of the structure's angular configuration, harmonized with functional articulations, stemmed from a probing query: "Can an atrium, typically a unifying element enveloped by other museum spaces, transcend conventional 'verticality'?" This challenge birthed a design idea where the primary exhibit, the rocket, assumes a diagonal placement, altering the visitor's journey and experience across the four interconnected volumes. The entire circulation is like a network, intricately woven across the expanse of the building, connecting all its diverse spaces, whereas the Amphitheatre seamlessly extends the building, forging a distinctive Land Building Relationship. This project unfolds a spatial odyssey, converging form and function within the celestial confines of "Cosmic Cascades."
