In response to the decaying state of the building, this conservation project embraces the symbiosis between resilient vegetation and architecture. Recognizing the vitality of nature, the project refrains from restoring the existing brick wall to protect the nearby peepal tree whose roots have woven into it. Instead, a new wall of glass bricks is introduced, allowing for both structural integrity and harmonious growth. This innovative approach blurs the lines between built and natural environments, echoing the sentiments of Karin Reisinger on the coexistence of architecture and life amidst abandonment and preservation. The design prioritizes the enduring relationship between the revitalized building and the flourishing peepal tree.
