The studio aims at learning the traditional craft of ply-split braiding, which opens up a new world for textiles. With an understanding of properties of the braided structures and while exploring various materials, Clingaroo, a braided baby carrier was designed. It is a breathable and comfortable baby sling with an adjustable strap, for babies within the age group 6 months-18 months, which ensures good posture for the baby, while ensuring that the wearer is also comfortable while carrying the baby around.
