CELESTIAL VOLUMES: The Spherical Library At Kamati Baugh

Inspired by the architecture of the nearby Planetarium, the Book Studio is situated in Kamati Baug, Vadodara, Gujarat. The Studio was created with the fundamentals of hierarchy, axiality, and path-space connection in mind. The spheres surrounding the stepped seating are designed to respond to the rigid and permanent construction of the Planetarium while still adhering to its methodical grid layout. A circular walkway that connects the Studio and the Planetarium makes sure that the context is recognized and caters to the visitor with a benevolent experience.
