NRUTYA DARPAN : EK KALA KENDRA

Situated on the banks of the Vishwamitri River in Kamati Baug, Vadodara, the dance studio harmoniously integrates with the meticulously planned public space. The design incorporates an introverted practice area and an extroverted performance space, with the entire structure excavated 2.5 meters below ground level. The plinth levels of the circular spaces increase gradually, ensuring the performance area seamlessly unfolds towards the surroundings while preserving its secluded ambiance. The performance space, strategically positioned, fully embraces the riverbank, establishing a dynamic synergy between the architecture and the natural landscape of Kamati Baug
