CP Bhuj (Chemical Plant)

The studio focused on design of a steel structure including Industrial shed, staging structure etc. This project is g+4 Chemical plant. The problem statement was to design a staging structure using Built up Double I Column And Box Bracing sections. The structure is designed as laterally supported due to deck slab. Machinery loads were applied as per plan description. Calculations for wind loads, seismic loads, and other relevant loads were conducted from Indian codes.  Load calculations and member designs were executed using Excel sheets, as per results from STAAD Pro software.
