Design of PEB Structure (Coating Shed)

This project is a part of the studio on the Design of Steel Structures, in which analysis, design, and detail of an industrial structure are accomplished. The main scope of the project is to design and compare two types of gantry girders (Plate gantry and truss gantry) over three types of openings (7.5m, 15m, 22.5m) considering the restrictions like eaves height(11m), minimum hook height(8m), head clearance, side clearance, etc. Different types of connections were designed and detailed according to the requirements.
