Design of Steel Staging Structure

The aim of the assigned project is to analyze and design a steel staging structure - Solid State Polymerization Plant, located in Nagpur having a height of 55m and large cut-outs in floor and heavy equipment. The structure has been designed using Built-up Box Sections for Column and Hollow Box Section for Elevation Bracings. Relevant Indian Standards have been used for load considerations, analysis and design purposes. A comparison of structure for different sections of Column (Built-up Box section vs Built-up Plus Sections) and Elevation Bracings (Hollow Box Sections vs Rolled I Section) in terms of quantity is also included in the project
