Ink Plant (G+3 Staging Structure)

A structural system was formulated to support 229 equipments of the Ink Plant using pinned connection with elevation bracings. The system was then analyzed after the application of loads. The forces in each member were determined and used for the design of the members. Another system was formulated using Moment connection in primary beams only and the steel take off of pinned connection and moment connection was compared.
