Ink Plant (G + 3 Staging Structure)

A structural system was formulated to support 229 equipments of the Ink Plant using Moment connection in primary beams only. The system was then analyzed after the application of loads. The forces in each member were determined and used for the design of the members. Another system was formulated using Pinned connection with elevation bracings and the steel take off of Moment connection and Pinned connection was compared.
