The studio started with basic exercises to make us understand how form is a very critical step in the design process. We learned radii manipulation, integration of two or more forms, transition of forms etc. After this knowledgeable kickstart, my further work started off with granite as a material to work with forms and shapes. So many ways to work with stone and exploring the wide range of stones led to the making of three products - chopping board, saltshaker and mortar & pestle. Each product has its one feature which makes it unique.
