The studio started with a huge focus on fundamentals of design and the gestalt principles of perception. These fundamentals that were introduced in the first week were then later on applied in various exercise like radius manipulation and transitioning of forms. The application of these exercises can be seen in the following design projects. The material chosen was ceramics and the properties were studies and leveraged to one's advantage while designing the products.
