The project was to design and make a lighting element to explore four types of metals, ferrous and non-ferrous metals, and thermosetting and thermoplastic plastics . 
The brief is to design a general lighting or ambient lighting for a given interior space. The unit will have adaptable mounting options to the ceiling or the wall (single surface). The concept of modularity and adaptable mounting is explored.
