Ellipsoid - A Lighting solution for Tasks.

Ellipsoid is a wall mounted task light. It is a result of precise calculations and use of ergonomics, with well design optimization and most importantly, knowledge of materials.  The luminaire has been designed keeping in mind the dimensions of paper (A3) and the table as standard. The luminaire aids the left-handed users as well because of its multi axis of freedom. The luminaire is a result showing our knowledge of materials and integration of material knowledge with design process.
The lighting product will be used to ease the performance of a task. There will be a modular system of light, whose shade can be altered according to user’s need. The luminaire can be rotated in two axis, One horizontal and one vertical. The light must focus on an area large enough to perform a task.
