The goal of this project is to design and develop a versatile workstation and storage solution that caters the needs of working professionals and students from non-design backgrounds between the ages of 18 to 30. These furniture pieces will be primarily purchased by PG flat owners. The primary focus is to provide flexible rental solutions that prioritize functionality, space efficiency, and affordability, meeting the unique requirements of this demographic. The design should encompass a range of compact living options, guided by market surveys and insights. In essence, the envisioned workstation delivers through market surveys and insights to refine the furniture’s feature. To transform it into a seamless blend of purpose-driven innovation and visual refinement which also reflects minimalistic aesthetics, and ensures ease of assembly. The design should include adjustable features, clear consumer instructions, and user-friendly interfaces that ensures individuals with varying abilities such as built-in power outlets, modular components that could be rearranged, minimal hardware or snap-on details.
