The Musician's Retreat

Nestled among the trees and shrubs ,away from the city and along the Sabarmati river , the design keeps in mind the requirements for a musician’s family. The design can be described as a journey through the corridors as you navigate through the steps that take you through different levels and lead you into music filled hallways, practice spaces and courtyards. The site consists of a residential space, a separate indoor gathering space , an open gathering space and a small pavilion by the water. The design plays with compressive roofing structures such as vaults and domes made using CSEB bricks.
