OBLIQUE  The angular position of the components in the design creates an illusion of lack of stability. Turning the symbolic meaning of a diagonal into a perfectly stable structure while also keeping it as visually light as possible is the idea behind the design of the stool. The illusion of the components stacked on top of one another is achieved by seamless joinery. The linear language of the stool gives the stool a sense of lightness
