Suave

The aim of the project is to design a stool from a given set of three-dimensional forms and materials while fulfilling the aesthetic as well as functional needs of the furniture.The purpose of the studio was to design a stool through the development of design iterations and material understanding with different types of junctions and details. The suave is a stool that is made by bending the plywood seamlessly, giving it a very elegant and strong structure. Suave, which means something that is both incredibly smooth and robust, ally. It should feel as though it is composed of folded paper.
