Urban streams and urban wilderness are features of developing cities that are adversely affected by urban sprawl leading to fragmentation and disruption of natural habitats. Koteshwar stream and wilderness is located in the peri-urban area of Ahmedabad- Gandhinagar where urbanization is affect result in flooding of villages and movement corridor of biodiversity is also affected. By reviving the land and water for recovering the affected habitats and wilderness to establish reconnection between bio diversity and humans in the project vision. The project highlight the value of biodiversity and the untamed and rugged beauty of wilderness by doing minimal intervention in Koteshwar.
