Breaking Barriers : A Plaza Renewal

Situated in the historic heart of Ahmedabad, this public intervention adaptive reuse project aims to revitalize the area by removing ground floor walls and establishing a vibrant public plaza with a skatepark, outdoor gym, and amphitheater. Accessible via public transport, the design fosters inclusivity and community engagement. The addition of versatile upper-level spaces serves as a maker's space for workshops while connections and extended roofs tie together existing structures. The terrace introduces a unique parkour park with an undulating roof, offering an exciting outdoor space for physical activities.
