The Lighting and Integrated Design Lab serves as an all-encompassing module designed for the optimization of lighting through the utilization of various tools, assessing iterations in daylighting, artificial lighting design, and façade design. Embedded within the broader spectrum of whole building design, the module is geared towards enhancing overall building performance with a focus on improving thermal and visual comfort. The overarching objective is to identify an optimal solution that mitigates operational energy consumption while concurrently optimizing life cycle costs.
