Lighting and Integrated Design Lab | Portfolio

The studio concentrates on providing understanding on the principles and various ideas of daylighting parameters in order to deal with daylighting analysis in an integrated manner. The conceptual knowledge of daylighting was taught through exercises on glare analysis, sun exposure, and shading devices. Furthermore, the whole building design approach was based on an educational facility which was examined for energy performance, thermal comfort, cost analysis, and integration of renewable energy as part of the total building design module. The aim is to holistically reduce building loads in order to reduce end use energy consumption
